Appreciation

I've been helping "B" with many things lately and I've mentioned before how I felt like I was being taken advantage of and how I'm under appreciated. For some reason this time it finally got through his thick head and he actually listened and got me this rose as a "thank you". I'm not holding my breathe because I'm about 95% sure this rose is a one time deal. I believe men in particular tend to take things forgranted if they're "spoiled" over time. I believe they tend to think of it as a "job" that always needs to be done and is expected. I do a lot of things out of the goodness of my heart and although I don't expect to be repaid, it is nice to feel appreciated and thanked often for the hard work.
