Tonight I was being very productive and cooking some chicken to save for later this week. Yes, you read that correctly. I'm planning ahead! All of a sudden my stove starts to beep. I'm turning on the fan, turning down my music, ignoring whoever is calling me at this moment, looking around for the beeping noise and praying my neighbors don't call the fire department, when I realize that this smart girl put the smoke detector right next to the stove! DUH! I feel like such an idiot!
